Paul Wammer is the owner and head clubmaker of Camber Golf in Kelowna BC. Working at Urban Links and at the Golf Center, Paul can be reached 12 months of the year.
Paul has a degree in Physical Education and Recreation specializing in Coaching from the University of Alberta. This is where he gained the techniques and the tools to teach everyone from raw beginners of the game to aspiring professionals.
Paul has been fixing and fitting golf clubs for over ten years. With the science and technology available to us today we are crazy not to take advantage. Yes!!! Beginners can benefit the most from today's great designs and break-through ideas.
Enjoying a very successful competitive career, Paul won the 2001 National Championship in the Cayman Islands. He won the Caribbean Open Mid-Amateur and was runner-up for the Amateur title. In 2002, he turned professional and played the Canadian Tour and learned what it is like to play (or try to play) with some of the best golfers in the world. Paul takes this experience and applies it to every day outlook on how to play and approach this great game.
In 2007, Paul was voted one of the worlds top 100 club fitters by the International Professional Association of Club fitters. In 2008 IPAC gave him the accolades of being the top club fitter out of the world's top 100. When you take your trade very seriously and commit yourself to your clients, it doesn't take long for the world to notice.
